As the weekend approaches, we wanted to share some park updates:

Thanks to those of you who have joined as members in the past week! Y’all are amazing. Be on the lookout for an exciting member update next Wednesday. For more information on park membership, click HERE.

The park will remain open to the public from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. seven days a week until further notice. The large and special needs dog parks of Remy’s Dog Park will also remain open. We will update the status of the small dog park on Monday.

Due to the high number of touch points, the Butler Snow Sensory Trail has been closed until further notice.

If our southern parking lot off Lakeshore is full, please take the opportunity to check out our northern parking lot across the road from the High Ore Line Trail’s southern terminus: 2019 Venice Road, Birmingham, AL 35211. There are 55 parking spaces and great views of Jones Valley.

Finally, a great resource for new and returning park guests: Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. They continue to put out thoughtful guidelines on how to care for the land and each other especially during this time.
